Dr. Avery is a Columbia-trained, board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist, licensed in New York. She provides thoughtful, individualized mental health care through a blend of psychotherapy and medication management, tailored to each person’s goals and needs.

Dr. Avery received her medical degree from Dartmouth and completed her residency training at the Columbia University Psychiatry Residency Program. Her clinical work is grounded in cultural humility, evidence-based practice, and a strong therapeutic alliance.
